Bible Text: II Corinthians 4:15-16... |

We Know                         January 13, 2019

In Hebrew ‘New Year’ means “a doubling”. The only way it will happen in our life is by the word of God. It build us up (Acts 20:32).

2 Corinthians 4:15-16  For all things arefor your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.  16  For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward manis renewed day by day.

Super-abounding grace brings an overflowing of the glory of God. More and more glorious within. This word of truth needs to be taken in your heart; it’s your life, your every thought. Taken in, lived, cherished, nurtured, abounding, and ever increasing. Man beats you down but God wants you to soar! He assures us in the word. We know. We don’t have to guess. He tells us plainly not to doubt, yet somehow we still worry. But why, when we know...

Psalms 138:8  The LORD will perfect that whichconcerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endurethfor ever:

He will never leave you. His mercy endures forever.

Romans 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to hispurpose.

You know this. Put away unbelief! God takes our greatest failures and turns them into our greatest glory. He cares for you. Why should we be concerned with any detail of our life? Yet, we don’t trust Him fully. We know we can’t trust ourselves, so we worry. That’s even the more reason to trust Him, knowing He is the only one who is faithful and true. Listen to what He is telling us, His love letters.

Joshua 21:45  There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.

Everything spoken came to pass. God is faithful.

Numbers 23:19-20  God isnot a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it?or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?  20  Behold, I have received commandmentto bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.

You have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ (Eph. 1:3). He gave it to you by Jesus’ blood, it can’t be reversed.

Deuteronomy 7:9  Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he isGod, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

He keeps His promises and gives them undeserved to them that love Him. Christ lives in you – don’t doubt the power of grace. Quit letting the devil lie to you. Don’t say, “That’s just the way I am”. That’s a lie. You aren’t the ‘I am’ in you, He is. The old man is dead. Let God let this truth reign in you. Christ in you, the hope of glory (Col. 1:27).

John 3:30  He must increase, but I mustdecrease.

The transformation is just love. Loving the people of God, not withholding a thing. Forgiving and forgetting. If you aren’t going to love like Him, you won’t be in the glory of the bride. We don’t have much more time. There can’t be harboring of bitterness – that won’t win Him. Let Him fully live. Christ liveth in me!
