The Depths of Mercy April 28, 2019
Psalms 25:10 All the paths of the LORD aremercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
Not some paths, not a part of your life – all. Keep = guard and love. He has to give you mercy before you’ll receive truth. And we always get mercy, that’s everything about Him. How? Just keep knowing what He is giving. It rains and pours mercy.
Lamentations 3:22-23 It is ofthe LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They arenew every morning: great isthy faithfulness.
Run in boldness in His compassion. Know the love of Christ. There has been a gain in this place because of the treasure of this mercy. Having a vision and love for His mercy. Why do people leave? Many times it’s because of someone in the meeting. They never had a true vision of the revelation of God’s mercy.
The very first quality of the bride:
Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies,
The elect of God = chosen of God; the best of its kind; mature. The ones He longs for and desires. Without mercy we miss it all.
1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
We need to see one another in divine mercy. I cannot love perfectly until I see you like Him.
The focal point of the tabernacle was the mercy seat, and out of it came the cherubim (representative of the four living ones, the bride). Their gaze was only at the mercy seat. Their wings touched – they have fellowship from mercy.
You can get so caught up in your good works that you completely miss mercy. If you slight mercy in your life, you will miss power, redemption and grace.
Romans 9:23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
Riches = fullness, there is no more, it’s completely exhausted. All the glory is given to the vessels of mercy. His mercy endures forever.
Esther, Ruth, and Rahab all came to the place they did by mercy. All our paths are mercy and truth to receive the riches of glory. He made you a vessel of mercy and every step is the before ordained good works that we should walk in. Treasure this. Believe in the power of His mercy. It is not your effort. Mercy is the exact, infinite opposite of what you deserved. These promises are yours. He’s given you the revelation of bridal truth – that it’s a mercy way. He’s equipped you to have it all because He’s made you a vessel of mercy. Its mercy all the way!
