Bible Text: Exodus 12:12-14 |

Remember the Deliverances                      May 28, 2017

Exodus 12:12-14  For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.  13.  And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.  14.  And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

Thank the Lord for Memorial Day. For the soldiers who have given their lives to protect the unique freedoms we have. But the Memorial Day we are reading of here is forever. The blood of the Lamb. It delivers me from all my troubles. My personal memorial to God, praise Him for His grace and mercy forever. The Father is seeking for the true worshipers that worship in spirit and truth. He wants us to praise Him and thank Him for His Word. The Holy Ghost sheds the love of God abroad.

Romans 5:5  . . . the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

To be the praise of the glory of His grace, it has to be something that needs grace; and His strength, ability, majesty. It’s His good purpose working for good in my life. We have personal miracle filled deliverances. Don’t forget what God has done for you. A memorial of the faithfulness of God. He delivers every single time, we are more than conquerors, the victory is already won! Encourage yourself in these deliverances. God is always on time. He is the author and finisher of our faith. He cares for you. Our citizenship is in heaven. Through Christ all things are possible. The deliverance is for you.

James 5:16  The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Don’t give up praying. Trust God. Wait upon the Lord. There is always something more for us. Paul said, “The Lord delivered me out of them all”. God chose the chief of sinners to show it’s all by His grace.

Philippians 3:7-8  But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.  8.  Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

Excellency means superior rank. Paul had walked with the Lord for 30 years at this time. He knew he was saved, but there was a pressing for more. Paul is saying “It’s all for not, except I win you”.

Philippians 3:13-14  Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,  14.  I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Run well and finish with joy!

Hebrews 11:39-40  And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:  40.  God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

All of these memorials to God (deliverances) in Hebrews 11 wraps up with a better thing for us.

More exceeding than all these deliverances in total. You are either going to be ruling and reigning with Him in the midst of the throne or you will be waving a palm. Those miracles can’t compare with the greatest miracle that changes us from glory to glory. Transformation into manifestation. His grace is transforming us. Get ready for the exceeding riches of His grace. Remember the things that He hath done. The better part. Praise Him for the deliverance now.
