Bible Text: Psalm 103:10-12 |

So Great is His Mercy                    July 8, 2018

Psalms 103:10-12  He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.  11.  For as the heaven is high above the earth, sogreat is his mercy toward them that fear him.  12.  As far as the east is from the west, sofar hath he removed our transgressions from us.

There is only one way we grow – grace. It is finished. I’m brand new – born of God. I cannot commit sin. Blessed is the man that God does not impute sin (Romans 4:8). We should be so thankful for the blood of the Lamb. His mercy is so great! Always the opposite of what I deserve. He saved you; He wants the best for you.

Philippians 4:19  But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

He is so for you. He is pouring on this supplying - His plan, provision, power, and passion. Instead of wrath, He is building riches in glory. He supplies your every need for glory. Not just when you yield to God, but every moment of your life. He has a divine understanding of us. He doesn’t just know you, He made you. The universe is increasing at an increasing rate. This is God showing us the wonder of the exceeding riches of His grace in the ages to come. There are more stars than sand; and the God that did that is supplying all your need according to His riches in glory. This is His passion. It will never stop, and will only increase. Will you believe? Let go of things here. He is waiting for monumental moments which are often in our unbelief. When we get to the point when our faithfulness doesn’t last – you finally see Him because there is nothing else to see. Joy is when you know God does it, and it was His grace. You see the beauty of His love, the strength of His faithfulness. Fall on Him. Enjoy the power of His might. The only time that power is on me is in my weakness. Paul said, the good I would, I do not. The evil I would not, that I do (Romans 7). God didn’t slam him with correction, He overwhelmed him with grace.

2 Corinthians 12:9And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

It’s only in infirmities that we grow in grace. Specific infirmities, given by God at the exact time. Not to break us, but to stop our lives from spinning out of control. So that we are on our knees at the throne of grace. There is more grace, more mercy.

John 3:30  He must increase, but I mustdecrease.

Philippians 3:9  And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

The simplicity. Christ liveth in me. Christ in you, the hope of glory. The lily doesn’t toil. He tells us to just grow up. It’s the new man that lives in me. God gives us the faith to be made complete, to jointly rule and reign with Him, to believe His word, to be glorified together. Not looking at the throne but looking out from the throne. How great is His mercy to you? To just forget your sin, or to supply all your need? Is it shaping your life? Glorified together with Him forever! That’s how great that mercy is! Believe Him. As thou hast believed, so be it done unto you.
