Bible Text: Isaiah 43:25, Ephesians 1:5 |

Know the Love of Christ                         August 20, 2017

Isaiah 43:25  I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

He forgave our sins for His sake. That’s a God of love. Think about what you are to Him. He died for you. God wanted a relationship – sons. Children that would mature that they would understand the ways of God. The very intimacy, love and passion in the heart of God.

Ephesians 1:5  Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

This is God’s plan for you, that it’s all for Him. All grace is given so you would know the love of Christ. You know the love of God when you are saved. God so loved the world. But now, the plan of God, that you would know the love of Christ. The Lover of your soul. He sent the Holy Ghost that we would know this. The Greek word for ‘adoption of children’ is “huios” = mature sons.

Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

The only one that will take you to that place is the Holy Ghost. The mature sons of God are led by the Spirit. We were not born to be servants. Growing up is transforming from glory to glory.

2 Corinthians 3:18  But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

The glory of man is the woman. His wife is His glory, the one that received the proposal message from the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is also known as the Spirit of truth. That’s why the high calling message of the Apostle Paul was after Pentecost. God is always on time, and everything about our lives had to be.

Romans 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

People that were dead in sins can come to a place where they love the truth. We grow up and transform into the double portion for Him. New Jerusalem = double peace. Solomon called the Shulamite my sister, my spouse.

Hebrews 4:15  For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Not only does He want to touch us, He wants you to touch Him. Like the woman with the issue of blood pressed through the crowd to touch Jesus and virtue came out (Luke 8). He comforts our infirmities and lightens our path. When I glory in my infirmities, the power of Christ rests upon me.

Psalms 45:1  To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, for the sons of Korah, Maschil, A Song of loves. My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

David drew nigh to the Lord. Don’t be critical. Love one another. Jesus desires the embrace of His beloved.

Philippians 3:12  Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

Apprehended = embrace love knowledge.

Song of Solomon 7:9  And the roof of thy mouth like the best wine

Don’t you want to love Him with perfect love? Not distracted with happiness for a moment, but eternal joy. Throughout Paul’s writings you will find the word knowledge some forty times. It means the knowledge between a husband and wife. God seeks those that worship in spirit and truth. His wonderful grace wants to transform you from the tents of Kedar to the curtains of Solomon. Rest in the promise of the bridal truth. Trust in His grace, falling in love over and over, deeper and deeper. The cares of this life are falling away. Praise God, the lover of your soul!
