Trust                               September 16, 2018

No one quotes ‘trust’ more than David, the man after God’s own heart. There are manifold blessings in trusting God that we are already blessed with (Eph 1:3). Nothing is withheld, and the only way to miss a blessing is not hearing truth. God wants us to have complete confidence in Him. It’s impossible to please God without faith. Put your confidence in God. The grace of God is always powerful to you. All grace is yours – apprehend it. That’s how you will grow.

2 Peter 3:18  But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Believing God is wonderful, but truly trusting Him takes it to another level. It’s a love thing. Know the love of Christ. If you know His love you’ll trust Him. Trust Him to give you what He desires. He wants you to rule and reign with Him. Trust is when a heart is confident. Knowing not just that God isable, but that He does what is for our good.He never withholds a thing that is good for you.

Romans 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to hispurpose.

It’s working for us because we love Him. Let’s trust God; and how you enter in is to submit to Him. In His faithfulness He afflicts us. Let’s read a few of the benefits that come from trusting God.

Psalms 5:11  But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

Psalms 9:10  And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

Psalms 18:30  As forGod, his way isperfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he isa buckler to all those that trust in him.

It is a goldmine to trust in God in all things.

Hebrews 10:35  Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

Don’t discard trusting the promises of God, it’s always the motherlode. When you trust yourself you’ll be robbed.

There are manifold definitions of the word trust: confidence, safe, carefree. He cares for you, it is so intimate. Trusting in grace alone. Rest in the bridal love and be confident your Husband will take care of you. We have all the counsel of God. Trust is hoping, knowing the gospel. You are wonderfully and fearfully made to need Him.

Psalms 125:1    They that trust in the LORD shall beas mount Zion, whichcannot be removed, butabideth for ever.

Zion means the parched place - grace. Those that trust in the Lord shall be like grace. The more we trust Him the more we’ll be like Him. Trust means an investment. Wealth that is stored up to be distributed at a later date.

Ephesians 1:18  The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
