Insatiable Love         November 29, 2015

Matthew 22:36-40 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.38This is the first and great commandment.39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
1 John 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
Romans 13:8-10 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
There is only one love – the love of God. God is love. This was the mark in David and Paul. They abided in the vine, in the continual supplying of the wondrous love of God. God takes pleasure in those that hope in His mercy.
Psalms 116:12-13 What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me? 13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
Let your hope be in the mercy of the Lord. Mercy keeps me from what I deserve and it causes me to be the man I never thought I could be. That’s love. It’s all Jesus. Come to the realization and appreciation that He is to be magnified so others only see Him in every action we do.
1 Thessalonians 3:12 And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:
An insatiable appetite of love abounding in our lives.
Galatians 5:13-14 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
This love is alive in those wanting to win Him. Faith works by love. Love motivates us to do the things we never would have done. Love is the sign of the ones who are ready. You need knowledge but without love it profits you nothing.
Not just love, insatiable love. The Song of Solomon is bridal truth. The intoxicating love between the Shulamite and Solomon. You have to be in it to see it. David loved Jonathan beyond the love of a woman because of the truth.
Song of Solomon 5:9 What is thy beloved more than another beloved, O thou fairest among women? What is thy beloved more than another beloved, that thou dost so charge us?
Others can be critical of our love for Jesus. They don’t understand, they are not in love so they become jealous and insult. Wake up – Jesus is coming! Don’t mock God. God wiped out cities, animals, and people for those He loved. Be awake, be alive, and be in love with the truth. Surrender all. Only the true sincere worshipers will have Him as bridegroom. Don’t care what anyone is saying about you; let Him fill you up with a full joy.
