Bible Text: Ephesians 4:7 |

Grace   October 26, 2014

Ephesians 4:7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
This is to everyone of us. God is no respecter of persons.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God doesn’t choose who goes to heaven and who doesn’t, He wants all men to be saved. Believe, by grace through faith. Salvation is in His Son, freely available. You can’t merit it, and if you try it is an abomination to God. Just bring the Lamb like Abel.
We are given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ, there is nothing lacking in Jesus, He is full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)
2 Corinthians 9:15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
You could think of many adjectives to describe Jesus but it would never exhaust how precious that gift is. He made the way all through His love. He wants to fellowship with us.
2 Corinthians 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
We can’t comprehend how rich He was, yet He took those seven steps down (Phil.2:5-8) so we could have His best. He gave His all.
God knows what we need to get us ready. Wait on the Lord. We are blessed with all spiritual blessings (Eph 1:3). How much of the riches will you take? Don’t be like the person in the story that had millions in the bank but only wrote one check for fifty cents. Lay a hold of these riches. God is glorified when we bring forth fruit.
2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
All grace is made available to us, it abounds. It is more than enough. He can take the dust that we are and make us fit to sit on the throne with Jesus. He is in us to give us the power to overcome. You can look back and marvel at the changes He has made in you.
1 Timothy 1:14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
Paul was the chief of sinners, but God made him the Apostle Paul and revealed to him the mysteries that had been hidden for ages. This same grace can change us from glory to glory.
We all need His grace.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
This is for all of us. We are children of God. Go boldly. We may have manifold needs but nothing is hard for God. Grace goes on and the greatest display of it will be the bride of Christ. Our lives are to be to the praise of the glory of His grace. Jesus wants us to share His glory. Joint-heirs! It will take the grace of God for that to happen.
