Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
This is the strength, the power of the exceeding grace that performs it all in you. The nothing withheld gospel – not just in your head, but in your heart. Increase and grow in the word of God and the Holy Ghost. He is the only One who can lead us into all truth and shed the love of God abroad in our hearts. The only way to fall in love with Jesus is to know of His immense love for you.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Children understand this truth. The simplicity of the love of Jesus never stops, it just grows. We have the comfort of a Father, that we can go to freely, but then we go on in that love. We see Him as a friend. Like Moses (Exodus 33:11) and the disciples (John 15:15). It’s all by the grace of God. He didn’t need me but He wanted me. But again the love continues. To know the love of Christ. Children are heirs of God, but with Christ it is joint heirs. To know the love of the Bridegroom!
Romans 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
To really fall in love with Him you have to know how deeply and madly He is in love with you.
You have to hear the proposal like Rebekah at the well in Genesis 24. But there has to be more – a follow through – going on with the Holy Ghost. Ask those that have left the fellowship of the proposal and returned, it’s not because they forgot the message, it’s because their love waxed cold. Hold fast your crown, this is the engagement. Walk worthy of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. How? Stay with it and stay in it. Quit messing around with every wind of doctrine, having itching ears. It will finally send leanness into your soul. When you have the privilege to eat strong meat don’t eat anything else. When our fervency wavers, the first love will be gone. The definition of first love is there is no other love but one. Paul’s gospel includes it all. Salvation and to come to a full knowledge of the truth.
1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
It is the power of the Holy Ghost in Paul’s gospel that is the mark. Truth in love. Don’t you want the most holy faith? Don’t you want the most out of the eternal and forever? I want all of it! To believe all the word of God. Then it must be Paul’s gospel. Keep in delirious love by the Holy Ghost. We need more love with the truth or we’ll grow cold. With just truth we will slumber. Be Christ in you, by His grace not blinking an eye. Alive, longing for, and loving His appearing. By the grace of God stand – then meet Him in the air!
