God’s Thoughts to You            April 24, 2016

Psalms 139:17-18 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! 18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
There are over 40,000 grains of sand in one handful. Scientists know there are at least ten times more stars than grains of sand. God’s thoughts to you are more than that! What else could we need or want?
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
His thoughts for us are to complete us. They are not for misery or unhappiness – the trials are for peace and rest and confidence in Him. They are to provide you the things hoped for in every event in your life. He will deliver things hoped for according to God, for the expected end. Your faith.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Faith is the word of God. There are lots of beliefs but there is only one faith (Eph. 4:5) and that is in Christ Jesus, the Word of God.
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
When the things you hope for are according to the word of God, they will be. Things for my everlasting. His Word is yea and amen. The word is His mind – let it be in you; don’t think with your mind. When I have His mind I have a for sure end in every event I will face. His thoughts are to complete us. His hand is upon us. He goes before us and behind us. Even when we believe not, He abides faithful. His thoughts are the same for every child of God. He wants every son to be fully grown, to be a joint-heir with Christ. Don’t you want to know your inheritance? What are you hoping for in the word of God to be completed in you? Understand Paul’s gospel - Hear the proposal.
Matthew 8:13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
We are supplied with all grace, always, in all things, to super abound in every good work (II Cor. 9:8). Our expectation is what we will get (as thou hast believed). How about expecting to meet the Lord in the air, ruling and reigning with Him! If the bridal message isn’t the thing hoped for you will miss it. If that is not our abounding there is a Holy Ghost lacking.
Hebrews 2:1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
Keep hearing Paul’s gospel and you will be abounding in the depths of the things hoped for!
