Bible Text: Jeremiah 17:7-8, II Corinthians 1:14 |

Victory in the Victory   April 26, 2015
Jeremiah 17:7-8 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. 8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
All the fruit comes from trusting in God. God puts all the ingredients that are needed in our lives into a pressure cooker to bring forth a sweet smelling savor. Only God in His all sufficient grace can have us to be thankful in a lion’s den, when naturally we would fear and complain. There is peace that passes all understanding.
2 Corinthians 1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
Comfort comes from those who have been through the trial before, not with words or hugs. The real comfort is the Holy Ghost testifying how the word works effectually in
them that believe. Mark them for ensamples (Phil. 3:17). Christ in you, the hope of glory. We are all joints of His body, and a body needs all of its joints. We comfort one another, as the Lord supplies His very glory though all of us. The evidence of faith, trusting the Lord to do the impossible. Your stand means something not only to yourself but to others. We are all parts of His body. Your suffering for Christ’s sake causes many others to be full overcomers too.
God heals some and others He keeps in the furnace, but they are still running. Nothing is hard for the Lord. Lay a hold of Romans 8:28.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Love the Lord and go on. The Lord will allow failure in our lives to draw us nigh to Him. It’s a familiar theme in God’s word. On the road to His best you have to overcome. We don’t realize how powerful trusting God is, not only to us but the whole body. When you stand for God the whole body profits. We are earthen vessels, but He is able. We’ve seen Him do it over and over. The treasure – salvation with eternal glory, an exceeding great reward. We are circled about with so great a cloud of witnesses. The good fight of faith has never been more monumental. Man’s evil is waxing worse. Lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. Itching ears for everything but sound doctrine. We need to keep running, pressing to the mark. But you have to know what that mark is. God has shown us such grace. Stand, but run, withstand but soar. We are the elect of God. Greater is the full overcoming victory in the victory. We have healings, but what about the thorn He says isn’t coming out. Glory in the thorn. Knowing it is all for His glory. Victory in the victory – that you know you didn’t suffer for nothing. It is living loving His appearing. Knowing with the fiery trial He has made the way of escape. A testimony of His great grace. Thank you Jesus! He is enamored with His vessel of grace – to the praise and glory of His grace. Step out, then step out further! He is coming soon!
