Where are we Spiritually?    July 19, 2015

There is an intensity building in those that are ready because we know He is coming. He is calling out, “Will you go?” The word of God tells us so, it’s not just a grand story. Don’t neglect so great salvation. Where are we spiritually?
Acts 26:22-28 Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: 23 That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles. . . . 27 King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest. 28 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.
There are some very telling statements by men in the word of God that reveal where the state of their heart is. Galatians 4:1 tells us you are a little lord of all but will you just remain a servant? We are offered salvation with eternal glory. He wants me to be His wife that will rule and reign jointly together with Jesus Christ.
Luke 24:13-25 And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, . . . 14 And they talked together of all these things which had happened. 15 And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them. 16 But their eyes were holden that they should not know him. 17 And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad? . . . And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people: 20 And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him. 21 But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done. 22 Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre; 23 And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive. 24 And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not. 25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
These brothers had been told the truth and they are still slow to believe. What are you saying about the bridal message today? Are you slow to believe or have you ran to the tomb?
People hear this message and get so on fire for the things of God but the flame goes out and they are gone.
Acts 9:3-6 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: 4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? 5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?
Saul didn’t just get caught up in excitement. He was shut up to the Lord. He received the message of the bride of Christ, the message of grace and glory.
Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press(run) toward the mark(the most excellent, highest measure) for the prize(the victory) of the high calling(highest embrace) of God in Christ Jesus.
The highest embrace that God wants you to attain is the embrace of His Son.
