Attitude of Grace                      November 11, 2018

2 Corinthians 5:17  Therefore if any man bein Christ, he isa new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Not just knowing grace but having an attitude of grace. The only thing that matters in you is the new creation, the new man. We are governed in the realm of grace where there is no law. We are justified in Him. He that has been made free is free indeed (John 8:36). All things are lawful but all things are not expedient, not spiritually edifying. Let grace’s power live in you. When you really lay ahold of it you’ll have an attitude of grace. People worry about what you can and can’t do. Just keep the faith in His faithfulness. Until you lay a hold of grace, that new life in you, and understand justification, you will never grow. Grace gives you the attitude that it’s all Him and He’s all in for you. As you walk in this realm:

Galatians 6:16  And as many as walk according to this rule, peace beon them, and mercy,

Your new attitude will be, I’ll let grace take care of this. You’ll discover all power is in grace, and you’ll see grace get things done. This is your life; grace brought you here. Grace will show you all the things that are yours in the new creation.

1 Kings 10:1-7  And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him with hard questions.  2.  And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bare spices, and very much gold, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.  3.  And Solomon told her all her questions: there was not anything hid from the king, which he told her not.  4.  And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon's wisdom, and the house that he had built,  5.  And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.  6.  And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom.  7.  Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it:and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard.

Isn’t that what Paul’s gospel has done in your life? When you see the bridal message and what He has prepared for those that love Him, we see us in the midst of the throne.

1 Kings 10:13  And king Solomon gave unto the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside thatwhich Solomon gave her of his royal bounty. So she turned and went to her own country, she and her servants.

This queen was rich, but the king gave her all she asked and all she desired. How much have you asked for? Today is the day to lay a hold of it – say it’s mine. Don’t get distracted looking at the myrrh, look at Him. He’s at the door, He wants you. It’s all by faith. As thou hast believed so be it done unto you (Matthew 8:13). You can begin to see this attitude of grace.

Song of Solomon 4:9  Thou hast ravished my heart, my sister, myspouse; thou hast ravished my heart with one of thine eyes, with one chain of thy neck.

With just a bat of an eye in that grace attitude, He’s ravished with you.

Ephesians 1:5  .  . .the good pleasure of his will,

This is what we can be for Him if we fully grow up believing in the heights of His grace. The very ecstasy of what God desires, His good pleasure – He’s doing that in you. There is nothing I could do, He’s done it all. All He wants you to do is believe Him. Look at that life that lives in you. Let Him open up the bounties of grace. Don’t think of your failures – see how He sees you. Glory in that man. I want to ravish Him with His grace, melt His heart with His mercy. I want Him for me!
