Live Victory – Praise Him         December 13, 2015

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Live victory. Quit getting kicked around in your unbelief. We are called to be a good soldier. Fight the good fight of faith. Put on the whole armor of God. We are in a war.
Isaiah 40:28-29 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Get happy in the place of no strength of your own. Watch Him from the furnace in full view of His fervent love and power. The Holy Ghost leads us into all truth and sheds the love of God abroad in our hearts. Be so in love with Him that nothing around matters. The power is increased in us by love. Faith works by love. He fights for you because His life is in you.
Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith,
The Lord is my shield and buckler and He is in love with me. Rest in His mercy and grace and praise Him for that love. The enemy is allowed to try and fool us with lies and get us consumed with guilt and failure. We need a testimony and there is no better testimony than David.
Psalms 40:11-13 Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. 12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me. 13 Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.
Our enemies are not only those that hate us but also within, self condemnation, fear and guilt.
When Jesus died on the cross He bore all our iniquities. He finished that once and for all.
The Lord takes pleasure in those that hope in His mercy.
In tough times, the question often asked is, “What should I do?”
Psalms 63:3-11 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. 4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. 5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: 6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches. 7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. 8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me. 9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth. 10 They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes. 11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
Psalms 56:9 When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.
If God be for us, who can be against us? The enemies are defeated and we get the peace that passes understanding. The answer is, “Lift your hands and praise the Lord.”
David’s mighty men were not physically powerful. They were inadequate and too weak for the task. King David told how to fight – in the name of the Lord of Hosts. Our enemies, external and internal, are fought the same way, on our knees, pouring your heart out to Him. Lift your hands and praise the Lord!
