Ruth had just happened to go to Boaz’s field to glean a little grace. It was a divine appointment that brought her there. He saw her and fell in love. He was going to do whatever it took to get her. This is how it concludes; the victory of what love has accomplished.

Ruth 4:9-10a  And Boaz said unto the elders, and untoall the people, Ye arewitnesses this day, that I have bought all that wasElimelech's, and all that wasChilion's and Mahlon's, of the hand of Naomi.  10.  Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife,

My Saviour is saying I’ve redeemed a multitude but moreover I’ve purchased you to be my spouse. Have you heard this for you?! There is prophecy of the redemptive power of Jesus through these names.

Elimelech = my king is God (this speaks of Israel)

Chilion = pining, suffering, ones crying (the innumerable multitude)

Revelation 7:14  And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Revelation 7:17  For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Mahlon = sickness. (the remnant)

Jeremiah 30:17  For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying,This isZion, whom no man seeketh after.

Israel is coming back – all because of the blood of Jesus. This is the foreshadow of the companies redeemed by the blood. It is wonderful, but something is surpassing all the glory of the sum of them. -Moreover Ruth-. He sold all He had for the goodly pearl. The glory of man is the woman. Descending from heaven having the glory of God. One life winning God’s best brings Him more glory than all the millions of palm wavers. This is for Him. He is passionate and He was made a man so He could have that wife. Paul wrote about the high calling of God in Christ Jesus in Philippians and the out resurrection; In Romans – glorified together as His wife. These things opened up all the word of God. Without Paul’s gospel you only see the acts of God instead of His ways, and knowing His heart in the mystery that was revealed. There were mysteries hidden in the Old Testament. The prophets wanted to know because they thought there was more. They wrote those things for us. It started with Adam who gave up everything because he loved his wife. Abraham sent his servant to get a wife for his son. He had all the master’s wealth in his hand (which was the heart of his master’s son). The Holy Ghost has brought all that God has to you. He says know the love of Christ, the wife is everything to God for His Son. Here in Ruth, she was all the purpose and motivation. In the book of Esther, the king says what’s mine is yours. Why? It was always on the king’s mind, sharing and having everything with her. Solomon claimed without Abishag he would have no kingdom. She is the city adorned. May we get the immensity of this glory that His grace wants us to be for Him.

Revelation 3:9  Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

Why does He say that about that church and none of the others? When He said glorified together, He meant it! He is going to share everything with her, even His praise.

Colossians 1:27  To whom God would make known what isthe riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Don’t turn away from it. It’s yours. Just take it!
