Bible Text: Psalm 139:13-14 |

Fearfully and Wonderfully made for Jesus           August 28, 2016

Psalms 139:13-14 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. 14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
Even naturally speaking, how incredible are these human bodies. How it works and how fragile, but that’s not the heights of this. It is that you are fearfully and wonderfully made for Jesus. We are made to be completely reliant on the word of God. Every life needs Jesus. All the events in your life – in the hand of God how perfect was the path. God is rich in mercy, praise Him for it. In His great love wherewith we are loved is how we are saved.
Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us.
Our natural bodies are the weakest and most vulnerable ever made. Animals and insects at birth have instincts; like a gazelle that runs as soon as it’s born. Then there’s us, we are born in sin and iniquity. Without Jesus we can do nothing. Your health, career, finances are all in Jesus’ hand. The word of God is all powerful. His promises are yea and amen. Believe the Word!
What you plant, you will reap. God’s word will not return unto Him void.
You want your children to do God’s will, but when they fail so miserably you can see the grace of God come in for them, what a feast – and we can say, it is well.
When I have run so well and then fail and find myself not believing God, it’s a thorn. But like for Paul, God says if I take it from you, you wouldn’t know my grace. The power of the grace of God transforms us. We were made for grace alone. We are vessels to the praise of the glory of His grace.
Ephesians 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
When we understand the grace that lifts us from these failures we can run and mount up as eagles, because we know it is His strength and His faith. In His faithfulness He afflicts us then assures us He is the Lord that delivers us out of all our troubles (Psalm 34:6). He comforts us in all grief and sorrow. So, we can quit wondering about our life, like why did this happen, or what about my future? It’s all answered in  I am fearfully and wonderfully made for Him. We need to know His promises. Stand on them – that’s how you live victory.
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
The word is my life. Hid away with Him under the shelter of His wings. I am my Beloved’s and His desire is toward me!
