Bible Text: Luke 2:1-32 |

Seeing through His Eyes                           December 25, 2016

Luke 2:25-32  And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.  26  And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.  27  And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,  28  Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,  29  Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:  30  For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,  31  Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;  32  A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

The joy this man received is the same joy we receive when we look into the eyes of our Saviour. Not only with my eyes but seeing through His eyes, the vision of what captivates Jesus. God always gives us His best. Calling you to the good pleasure of His will. You should be feasting on the meat of the word – Paul’s gospel. Paul’s gospel enlightens the eyes to see even the hidden things in the word of God. Clear and transparent as to what He wants.

Song of Solomon 7:10  I am my beloved's, and his desire is toward me.

This bridal message is the greatest gift to you. What a rest when you know you are loved like that. By God’s promise, provision and power I’ve captivated His Son. Be bold in the power of His might! He sent the Holy Ghost to bring the proposal. His desire is paramount.

Song of Solomon 8:10  I am a wall, and my breasts like towers: then was I in his eyes as one that found favour.

How many times does He have to say you are beautiful? Quit being occupied with things you think you need to do to be ready. When Esther went in to see the king, she took only what the king’s chamberlain (the Holy Ghost) appointed. It is what He sees, His desire and pleasure that matters. The word of God speaks of it as a building, a masterpiece. You can grow into that maturity that even melts His heart. All because of the mercy and grace of God. The vision of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. When you see with your eyes you will be discouraged, but when you see with His eyes there is thankfulness and joy. The word of His grace is the power of God. God has called you to hear, He set you at the well with the Holy Spirit. Seeing through His eyes gives me an abounding hope; not an if, but when it will be. Have a heart to venture out further into unknown waters. The first love message is the gospel of the Apostle Paul. Jesus Christ, the gift that never stops giving.  A giving throughout eternity!

Ephesians 2:7  That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

We want to see Jesus, but how He longs to see you in the full stature and maturity of Christ.

All glorious, readied wife to share everything with Him forever.

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

He gave Him to me to rule and reign jointly together forever!
